Pulled into Russ Darrow Honda as a last hope after countless (okay, five) disappointing visits to other car dealerships. The dealers at other lots were too sleazy, the cars were too expensive for what you were offered, or we just couldn't agree on a bottom line price. When I e-mailed Dale from Russ Darrow Honda, I got an immediate response with some great suggestions. There was a promotion going on that sounded like a good deal to me, but, shame on me, I didn't read ALL the fine print. When we got there, we realized two things 1) The car with all the extra features was more expensive than we thought 2) We didn't love the base model for the lower price. Dale worked with us tirelessly (over an hour after the dealership closed) to meet us on the middle ground and get us the car that we wanted. With most car salesmen, I feel like I'm being hit on by a greasy guy at a divebar, but Dale was knowledgeable, respectful, and completely approachable. Instead of pointing out that we could have gotten our price point if we gave up our fun features (I love a moonroof...kind of a lot), he cut corners, found wiggle room, and did whatever the hell else car dealers are doing when they run back and forth to their managers and negotiate the price of a car with you. We got a fair value on our trade-in (the check engine light was on and I did. not. want. to deal with it), and a great price on our car.We wound up with a manual transmission - which Dale actually taught my husband how to drive. And when there was a screw-up (hey, people make mistakes) and we wound up with the wrong license plate on our car, Dale drove out to my work and replaced them for me, instead of making me drive back out to the car lot. Could not be happier with our vehicle, or the price that we got it for. Also, Dale completely put up with our shenanagans like a champ. It was late, I was tired, hungry, and ready to leave, but we really wanted to find a way to make the nicer vehicle fit in our budget (which basically meant that by the end of the night, my toddler was less cranky than I was). When we left, we felt like we had a great car at a great price, and a great resource for our next vehicle. Head out to Russ Darrow Honda, talk to Dale, and tell him you read this, because maybe it will get me brownie points for my next car :)

Walter was an awesome salesperson! He was very helpful every step of the way! The car detailing crew could have done a better job with cleaning out the car and getting rid of random articles in the car. Also, we expected that the car would come with 2 keys but it only came with one after our purchase. We do appreciate tht they provided us with a discount on purchasing another key, but would have loved to know this in the beginning of the process.

Extremely impressed and extremely HAPPY!  I was so sure walking into the Russ Darrow Honda dealership on Brown Deer Rd., would result in utter let-down and disappointment.  To my surprise, my experience was a complete success!  Not only was the welcoming staff professional, friendly and moved with urgency, but my sales experience was Great and I got the car I had dreamed of, literally!  I am pleased and excited to say that not all dealerships are the same and I can speak from experience as I have driven 3 Hondas and I'm on my 4th.  I stuck with one dealership for many years and decided to break the mold and visit Russ Darrow Honda and I'll continue to stay with Russ Darrow Honda!  I could go on and on about my experience but take it from me, do yourself a favor and go visit and see for yourself.

We came in on the Honda Civic special, Nastascia was excellent, she knew the vehicles well and showed us the Civic and Accord.  The General Manager, George Matthews was personally involved in our deal and made sure that we were comfortable with everything and in the price range we requested.  Nick in the finance department also did an excellent job.  We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new or used vehicle.  They have fabulous customer service in the sales and service areas.

Cyd Sobczak was my salesperson. He was the best! He treated me with respect, courtesy, and knowledge of his product. If he didn't know the anwser to a ques., he would ask another resource or look it up. Cyd will have a bright future in any profession he chooses. I did not buy a Honda Odyssey for 2 reasons totally unrelated to Cyd: 1. Cyd's manager would not give me a printed copy of a lease quote. Instead I was told to return to the dealership and talk in person. I had previously visited 3 other dealers and they all had a hard copy for me within 10 min. 2. product- I found the 3rd row of seats to fold down with some difficulty, more than I wanted. Another manufacturer was easier.
